So very sad to hear of Gráinne’s passing. Such a kind beautiful person and a wonderfully talented artist.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to Grainne's Mother siblings and all her friends at this really sad time for you all. Grainne was just a wonderful person. I had many chats with her about you her family, nature, and her county Donegal.
Grainne thank you for your friendship, I will miss you. Rest in Peace.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to all the Carr family on the passing of Grainne.

I met Grainne when I joined her classes in Drumcondra. She was the most patient, supportive, and encouraging teacher. She really was a gifted artist. Everyone enjoyed those classes, staying well after the end time just chatting. Often classes would turn into trying out some form of painting technique.
The classes then moved to the Peoples college, and again Grainne's lovely nature endeared her to all. She will be sadly missed, I am so glad to have met and learned from her.

May Grainne rest in peace.

Grainne was our wonderful, friendly, kind and considerate neighbour in Phibsboro for over ten years. She was never without a smile and we are truly shocked and saddened by the news of her passing. Our condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Grainne. I was in college with her, and we worked together in Harolds X for a few years too. Always had a laugh, such a gentle person. Sympathies to her family.

It was with great sadness that we heard of Grainne's death. Grainne was a warm, friendly, bright and very talented lady. Those who knew her will always remember her warm, ready smile.
Sadly she has been taken away all too soon.

It was a joy to be in her class and she imparted an appreciation of Art to all her pupils. She encouraged us all and was always in good humour. Gráinne will be greatly missed. Dear Agnes, Paddy, Anjo, Olivia, and family, on hearing of sweet sweetest Grainne passing I am deeply deeply saddened. I can't imagine the lost that is felt by you at this time. Grainne was, is, will always be a shinning Star. She had a brightness. Always thinking about you all, I never imagined I'd never have a chance to speak with Grainne again. It is heart breaking. So many good times and memories with her, school in Falcarragh, going to Slogadh, meeting up in Dublin, times that never left my heart because when you were with Grannie you were in a special place, in that moment. Heaven is blessed receiving this sweet soul into its arms. I so wish it wasn't so. Padraig will be delighted receiving his daughter into his arms.

Grainne was a beautiful soul, who I was blessed to know, she took the spirit of Donegal and protected the people around her, especially her elderly neighbours. She was a light in the dark for a lot of people and i will sorely miss our chats. My sincere condolences to Agnes, Olivia, Annjo and family.
