Gráinne Kavanagh Ennis

Very sad to hear that Grainne had passed away. She was a great character, had some great times in her company during her time in Cork. Sincere condolences to all of Grainne’s family.

I was out of the country at the time of Grainne's passing and only heard the sad news today. My sincere condolences to her family.
I was part of the group of girls that shared houses with Grainne in Cork for many years. We had such fun, craic, weekends away and deep conversations! She was a really good kind person to all of us.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies to Martin, Fiachra, Fionn, Paudi, Emer, and all the Ennis & Kavanagh family. Grainne was our first neighbor when I moved to Ardfert and I lived next-door. She always had time for everyone and was always the first to offer helping hand. I will always remember her fondly from Church St and Banna where she always had time for a chat and a laugh. She was a completely selfless individual and adored Martin and her two boys above all else. I hope they can take comfort from the knowledge that she touched everyone who met her in a positive way and that we all loved and will miss her sorely. Her service was very moving and a fitting tribute to a uniquely funny, kind and mischievous lady. I will never forget her kindness and friendship.Gone too soon but never forgotten. I am very very sad and upset to hear of dear Grainne’s passing. SHE was such a wonderful lady who lit up my life and the lives of those who had the pleasure of meeting her in Ardfert Retreat Centre. Nothing was difficult for Grainne.She would always oblige. Her sense of fun and joy radiated around even when the first shadow of ill health began to manifest itself.She was always optimistic. To Martin, the love of her life and to her wonderful sons Fiona and Fiacra I offer my sincere sympathy and prayers now that her suffering is over and she can rest in heavenly peace.The note Grainne left her family was just Grainne,beautiful and heartfelt.
Grainne will always have a special place in my heart.Thank you for just being you Grainne.
