Grainne KELLY

Well Ms Kelly, I have so much I would have loved to say to you if I still could. I want to thank you so much for everything you've done for me over the past few years. You're the reason I got into college, non stop calls and application forms. I still remember how proud and delighted you were for me when I saw you at my debs, you shaking me and hugging me. You did everything for me and went out of your way to help me and I wish I could tell you how much I appreciated your efforts with everything. I wish I could have said a proper goodbye to you, so I'm sending you this. Thank you so much for everything Ms Kelly. You really were just so helpful and caring. Always thinking of you. You and your gorgeous smile which lit up each hallway in Holy Faith will never be forgotten and you'll always be such an inspiration in my eyes. Rest in peace. x

I cannot begin to express my sorrow and pain I feel for Ms.Kelly's family and friends. I knew Miss.Kelly since the day she began in Holy Faith. I had weekly visits from Ms.Kelly and quickly became very fond of her she was a breath of fresh air in the school, her empathy and understanding for students problems was something that can never be replaced. When I look back at last year when I spent a long hour session with Ms.Kelly explaining to her that I wanted to peruse a full time job as a sales assistant in a clothes shop and told her college was not for me. I remember her surprise and shock at this. Today I have completed my CAO application forum for college and I have applied for ten different colleges. I can thank my parents for their motivation and inspiration but I can only thank Ms.Kelly for teaching me how to believe in my self she has taught me that if you don't believe in yourself no one will believe in you. I think of Ms.Kelly all the time and how she has helped me so greatly throughout her four years teaching in Holy Faith. I will have a smile on my face when I get my Leaving Cert results knowing she is the main reason I have gotten there. Love to her family and friends. Sleep tight Ms.Kelly never forgotten xxxx

I only heard of Grainnes death today.I am so sorry.I will phone you as soon as I get your number.I will have a Mass said for her.I am shocked ,so I am sure you are shattered.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ms Kellys family at this tragic time. Ms Kelly was simply one of a kind. She had time for each and every one of us and her happy smiling face always lifted our spirits in times of stress. She will be missed greatly and I will always remember Ms Kelly. I am so sorry to hear of Gráinne's untimely death. My sincere sympathy to her family and boyfriend. I studied with her for a year in UCD on the guidance course there and her caring, friendly, outgoing nature was evident on many many occasions.

Thank You for the advice you gave me this year,you have been a great guidance counsellor for the first years in Holy Faith.You will be dearly missed,but never forgotten.May You Rest in Peace.

I am deeply saddened by Grainne s passing. I remember her as a wonderful colleague, friend and fellow Guidance Counsellor. When words are not enough let the light that shone out from her be of comfort. I remember Grainne so so fondly and will miss her. Sincere sympathies to all of her friends and family.
