Siobhan, Alex, Rebecca, Colman and all the Byrnes family, our sincere condolences on the loss of Greg. You’re in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Words can’t convey how much Greg meant to us and how much we will miss him. He has been a constant presence of fun, friendship and support to us for so many years and we’re heartbroken that he is gone after such a brave battle. He was funny, brilliant and a true gentleman. He will forever be missed by us. RIP Greg.

My sincere condolences to Greg's wife, children, parents and all his family and many friends. I only found out today of Greg's passing and I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I knew Greg from his MBA in UCD Smurfit where we shared a small team during our first semester. He was clever, funny and always very engaging. We had great fun on that team and Greg was a big part of that. He will be missed. A bright light has gone out. May he rest in peace.

He was funny (in the best way as it was quiet and gentle), smart, friendly and really well liked in the area. I never heard a negative word about him. I’m still shocked he has passed. Sorry to hear of Greg's untimely passing. We spent time together in School and College years and played football together, where he was a handy front man. As others have said, Greg was Universally popular without trying. His funeral service yesterday was very moving and the deep love for him from friends and family was evident. Rest in Peace Greg, you will be missed.
