Deepest condolences to Muriel and all the family on the passing of your beloved Greg.

I have wonderful memories from my time as a pupil of Mr.O'Halloran in Synge St. where his passionate love of Music and Irish was infectious.

A number of years ago, I remember having a lovely conversation with Greg and Muriel at a school mass where I thanked him for the hugely positive impact his teaching had on myself and many others.

Greg will be in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace.

Muriel, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Hal. A consumate gentleman. You were both very good to me as a student in UCD.

Greg was a colleague for many years in Synge Street CBS. In those years, Greg's kindness and humanity were an inspiration for all of us who knew him, both pupils and staff. His love of music was infectious; I have many happy memories of discussions we had about various performances of compositions that we both loved. Muriel and family, I was so very sad to hear of Hal’s passing. I have so many happy memories of our times together singing with the Celtic Choristers and our attempts at fixing the world’s problems on our way to rehearsal when his buddy driver Ollie wasn’t available. I particularly remember our Shannon Cruise he was the life and soul of the fun. May he rest in peace.

Greg was a wonderful colleague to all of us over many years and has left a rich legacy. His enthusiasm for music and the many outstanding choirs has been acknowledged by his pupils. We were truly blessed to have had Greg with us during our teaching careers. May he reside amidst the Choirs of the Angels.

It is rare that you meet someone who just makes your heart happy. Hal was that person. We feel so blessed to have gotten a chance to know and love such a beautiful person. James and Hal had such a special bond and I am so grateful for the quiet lessons Hal taught not only JJ but all of us. He was one of my most favourite people and I am heartbroken for Muriel, Mags, Thomas and Hannah. Heaven gained a true angel and every tine JJ steps on a rugby pitch he will carry Hal with him. God bless Hal rest safe in the angels arms x

As a pupil I played in Greg's School Orchestra. As musicians we never quite managed to equal Greg's enthusiasm and energy, but we all enjoyed it. He was a lovely man and very well respected by the students. Condolences to his family.
