Never have I known someone to be as kind as Greg in my whole life. I truly enjoyed every moment I spent being coached by him and I will forever cherish the belief he placed in me. Rest in Peace Greg.
Our deepest sympathies to the Fry family on the sudden passing of Greg. He was part of our Music Industry Xplained (MIX) course for a number of years and his infectious energy, genuine passion, knowledge and insights made these sessions exciting and entertaining. He was so generous with his time and we were lucky to have him as a Hot Press reader for the duration.

He will be great missed by all who loved him. Thinking of Klara, Pat, Oskar, Alannah and all the family at this terrible time.
Sincere condolences to Sharon, Finley, Zack, Casey and all the family. Greg was a fantastic person to work for and with. Will miss him immensely. Sending love and light at this time.
I am so sorry for your loss. When I just started my online business I went to ALL his LEO classes in Naas as he made learning so much fun. My deepest sympathies to you all

Sincere condolences to Sharon, Finley, Zack, Casey, and all of Greg’s extended family and friends.

Greg was a truly inspiring and generous person who brought such energy, humour, and positivity into every room he walked into. I had the privilege of learning from him during our time at Merits, and his passion for digital marketing and helping others was unmatched. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

He will be deeply missed, both personally and professionally. May his beautiful soul rest in peace.
Greg was a ray of sunshine. Always upbeat and positive and loved by so many. Greg was the type of person who, if you saw him, would always stop and chat; he was always interested in helping people.
RIP Greg.
Dear Lorna, Richard and Family,
With our sincere sympathy for your loss. We are thinking of you.
I’m so shocked and saddened to hear about Greg. I worked with Greg 25 years ago in a recruitment agency and the absolute craic we used to have as a gang in our early 20s! Greg was so much fun and so charismatic. You were always guaranteed a great night out and some mad adventure with him.

He was so kind and considerate and had an amazing way with people. He was a great man for advice before we even knew what coaching meant! I echo what Matt F says below about how much he wanted children - it’s so lovely to read about his life with his boys.

I hadn’t realised that we both teach with UCD Professional Academy and would have loved to have reconnected with Greg.

My thoughts are with you all. I’m so sorry.
Our deepest sympathies to Klara and the Fry family. We were very sorry to hear of your loss. You are in our thoughts
So sorry to hear about the sudden loss of Greg. I worked with him many years ago and he was such a lovely person and his loss will be immense. Thinking of all Gregs family and friends at this sad time x

Dear Lorna and Richard I have only just heard the very sad news about the sudden passing of your son Greg
I am truly sorry for your loss and send my sincere sympathy. May Greg rest in peace
Greg was one of my favourite lecturers at The Digital Marketing Institute. He had a great sense of humour and was a very genuine, humble person.
I feel very fortunate to have met and listened to Greg on two occasions at Merits, Naas.
His passion for teaching social media, marketing, and AI was truly inspiring, making the topics both fun and accessible.
Thank you, Greg, for mentoring so many of us budding entrepreneurs with your boundless energy and positivity, and for providing us all with a Free AI intern.
You were taken too soon.
My sincere condolences to Greg’s family and friends.
Rest in peace.

Greg was always good company, and highly entertaining at the side of a cricket match in Rathmines during the summer....Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. AF.
Dear Lorna and Richard,
We were so sorry to hear the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of your much-loved son, Greg. Please accept our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I was heartbroken to hear about Greg's passing. Almost every week during the season, we shared many a chat and coffee on the sidelines watching Casey play football. He will be missed on match day by me and all other dads.
We are heartbroken for you all .. We alongside Gregg spent much of our time over so many years watching football matches in Beechwood .. He was always full of chat about his boys and where they were in their lives and how excited he was for them . He was so incredibly kind and funny with great style .. he will be missed by so many but he left his mark on all of us for that we are grateful .. RIP Gregg x
Shocked and saddened to hear this awful news about Greg. He had such enthusiasm for life and devotion to his wonderful family. A neighbour and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.
So sorry for you Sharon, Casey, Finley and Zach.
So very sorry to hear of Greg’s passing.
My deepest sympathies to Richard, Lorna, Klara and family on your huge loss.
Although our paths hadn’t crossed for some time, I have so many great memories of epic adventures had with Greg in various parts of the world during our late teens and early twenties.
He was always such an authentic, sincere and generous friend who made an impact everywhere he went.
Rest in peace my friend.
To Sharon, Casey, Zack and Finley, my sincerest sympathies for your loss.

Long hours spent on the Beechwood soccer side-lines, chatting with Greg and watching him coach Zack and the other young boys with endless patience and good humour, made two things very obvious: Greg was one of the "good guys" and, he was incredibly proud of his 3 boys. The ceremony in Mt. Jerome was incredibly moving and confirmed the love and esteem he was held in by so many. He's missed by more people than most & that's all the epitaph anyone could ever ask for.
Dear Sharon, Casey, Zack and Finley, to Richard and Lorna and Klara, Patrick & Wayne

I was heartbroken when I heard of Greg’s sudden passing last week. He was a friend, a deeply respected colleague, (While we technically worked for competing companies, we never saw it that way - Greg and I had a mutual respect and understanding that transcended business) and truly one of the kindest, most generous people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.

Greg and I shared many moments over the years - supporting each other through the many training programmes and stage time that we shared together, always with humour, encouragement, and mutual respect. He had a rare gift for lifting others up and bringing warmth into every room he entered.

I was in Mount Jerome this afternoon and listened to your wonderful family stories of Greg.
I can only imagine the depth of your loss. Please know that Greg was admired and loved by so many and that his legacy of kindness, energy, and positivity lives on in all of us who had the privilege to work alongside him and call him a friend.
His legacy and significance will live on through the thousands of people he has coached on their entrepreneurial journey.
Not least the many young students that he worked with on the Student Enterprise Programme.

Wishing you strength and peace in the days ahead. You are very much in my thoughts.

With deepest sympathy,
Noel Davidson and all the Team at The Entrepreneurs Academy
I still can't believe it. I can still remember the day myself and Greg spoke about the fact that we seemed to share the same values, the passion for people and the digital world and he asked me if I was interested in setting up a business together. There was no hesitation - we jumped straight in and had an amazing journey hitting the road with Content Plan for over a decade. It was exciting, scary and exhilarating with Greg teling me to 'eat that frog' almost daily. That's who he was - he had belief in people and pushed them to do things they had only dreamt of before.
Greg cared, he listened, he had your back and he gave sound advice, he was wacky and extroverted but he was also thoughtful and kind. The thing I admired most though was Greg's absolute love for Sharon, Finley, Zack and Casey - they were his absolute world and his family was integral to his very being.
I know Greg was proud of Content Plan ... I hope we continue to make him and his family proud. I will miss you Greg.
Sharon,Finley,Zack Casey,
Mr and Mrs Fry, Klara,Families and Friend's,we would like to extend our sincere sympathies to you all on the sudden passing of Greg.
It has been a pleasure getting to know him and standing chatting to him on the sidelines as he watched Zack play and encourage the team.
We will miss you terribly and are shocked at your sudden passing.

We were at your service today and your family gave you such a dignified send off. We applaud you all and admire how well you all managed to speak and how well you spoke of Greg. It was lovely to hear you tell his story and hear how special of a guy he really was and how many people's life's he impacted.
Thank you to you all for your hospitality afterwards also in
The Dropping Well. Sorry we didn't get to chat to some of your personally . Rest in peace Greg. We will miss you

Heartfelt condolences to you Klara, on the loss of your brother Greg. We are thinking of you, and all your family at this very difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Anna, Bríd & Niall
Finlay and family,
Condolences on your loss, we’re so sorry and sending our love to you all ❤️
I am absolutely heart-broken for you all, and for all of us. I thought today's celebration of Greg captured him beautifully and each of you spoke so well and with great courage. Clara, in particular, you really captured Greg for me - his wit, his warmth and, of course, the shirts. I have many happy memories of him with Andreas, Owen, Scott and yourself, with lots more added in the college years and beyond. It was so clear to me in your tribute to him today how much he was loved, and how much he loved all of you x
Or sincerest condolences to Lorna, Richard, Sharon and the whole family on the sudden passing of Greg - may he rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to Greg’s parents, sister, Sharon, Casey, Zack, and Finley on the heartbreaking loss of your beloved son, brother, husband, and father.

Greg was a bright, vivacious light—one of those rare souls the world only gets once. His impact was profound, and his loss will be felt deeply by all who knew him.

Just a few short weeks ago, I rang Greg to apologise for a delay in sending him a video. I was caught up in the chaos of moving house. In true Greg style, he transformed that call into something extraordinary—a 15-minute masterclass in perspective, self-care, and grounded wisdom. That was who he was: generous, wise, and deeply human.

Though I only met him a handful of times in person, Greg left a lasting impression. He was one of the most dynamic speakers I’ve ever seen—whole body, whole soul, and those unforgettable leg kicks to drive the message home. He didn’t just teach—he inspired, entertained, and lit people up. Every single thing I know about AI, I learned from Greg.

The world has lost a radiant original. My heart breaks for his family and all who loved him.

May he rest in peace
Sincere condolences to Klara and all the family on the sad passing of your dear brother. Thinking of you at this time.
I met Greg when we were both starting out as trainers at the beginning of the social media marketing craze in Ireland. Throughout the years that followed, I had the pleasure of collaborating with him, socialising with him, and watching his career thrive. I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear that he has left us way too soon. He was always full of fun, full of energy, and full of positivity. The world is poorer for his loss. My deepest sympathy to Greg’s loved ones. May he rest in peace.
Greg was a force of nature. One of the most enthusiastic, passionate and energetic professionals working in the mad world that was the early days of social media. There were and are very few people who could make people believe that social media could work for them. Greg made people believe. He made them laugh. He made them think. He also was so very friendly, charismatic and funny. The tributes here, on LinkedIn and online are a great mark of the man, and shows how there were many sides to a man who believed in friendship, family and fun. The Irish phrase "Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann" very much applies. May he rest in peace. Stories of Greg will be told for many years. Condolences to all who loved him, who worked with him and who will miss him.
I met Greg just once while I was studying for my marketing degree in DIT. I reached out to him and a number of others on Linkedin asking if I could meet them for a coffee to discuss career strategy and receive general advice. Greg was the only one that responded and we met for coffee in Dublin in 2017 where he was warm, friendly and utterly inspiring.

Shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP
I have such fun memories of Greg from when we were kids growing up, and we were all heartbroken to hear this terrible news. Sending love to all of the Fry family. X
Our Deepest sympathies to Sharon, Finley, Zack and Casey,
on the sad passing of Greg. He was a true gentleman and an absolutely lovely neighbour.

We are thinking of you all.
HAI had the pleasure of working with Greg for many years, during which time he became a familiar and respected figure in the sector. Renowned for his expertise in eCommerce and digital marketing, Greg was an outstanding and inspirational teacher and a true thought leader.
His deep knowledge of his subject, and his ability to share and impart that knowledge made him the go-to person for training. Greg was a consummate professional—always prepared, always insightful, and always generous with his time.
Beyond his professional excellence, Greg brought warmth, humour, and a spark of energy to every interaction. He had a compelling way of making even the most complex topics feel approachable and relevant.
He will be deeply missed—both for his contributions to the industry and for the person he was.
From The President, Board and Staff of Hardware Association Ireland.
I had the great pleasure of working with Greg over the last couple of years and his energy, expertise and enthusiasm were always so infectious. My deepest sympathy to Sharon, his sons Finley, Zack and Casey, and all friends and family.

What a truly beautiful man Greg was, inside and out. We were so lucky as a family to get to know Greg, his magnificent wife Sharon and their three gorgeous sons Finley, Zack and Casey through our sons going to school together in Kildare Place Primary School and then playing football together in Beechwood.

Greg was always a ray of positivity, joy and sunshine, always smiling, forever upbeat full of the wonder of life. Always there for everyone else, offering a helping hand and caring for everyone lucky enough to meet him along the way. Life is just too cruel sometimes, absolutely impossible to comprehend.

The great love he surrounded everyone with and that he has now left behind will embrace and surround all his broken hearted family forever more. Thinking of all his family and friends right now. Codladh sámh Greg.
Richard /Lorna,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family at this very difficult time!
May he rest in Peace.
Yours sincerely,
Breege.
I was so sorry to hear about Greg’s passing. Although we hadn’t been in touch in recent years, I remember him well from school and was always delighted to see him on the few occasions we crossed paths since. His kindness, positivity, and sense of humour always stood out. He had a way of making even the trickier school days feel a bit lighter, and I’ll always be grateful for those times — as I’m sure many of our classmates are too! Thinking of his loved ones and all who’ll miss him.
Klara thinking of you and your family at this very sad time, I am so sorry for your loss ❤

May he rest in peace.

Greg lived the 'Four Seasons of Life', with honour, love, and generosity of spirit.

I will always remember Greg for his incisive dry wit and warm humour. A testament to his shining life is the myriad of people who he inspired across the land and who hold him in well earned esteem.

My heart goes out to Sharon and her adored boys, Finley, Zack, and Casey. There is absolutely no doubt that the good fortune that your remarkable Dad created lives on in each one of you and the love between your parents is a treasure that will hold you in good stead and remain with you for the rest of your days.

My sincere condolences also to Richard and Lorna, Klara and Pat, Oscar, Alannah, and Wayne at this profound and heart wrenching time.

Greg was an inspiring lecturer and a remarkable contributor to DMI's formative years. His passion, insight, and dedication left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike. With my condolences and all from the DMI.
For once my words quite fail me. I still can’t believe it. Keep thinking I’m going to wake up from this brutal, unjust nightmare. To Sharon, Finley Zack and Casey my heart is broken for you and to Richard, Lorna, Kiara and all Greg’s family and friends, my deepest, most sincere condolences on your tragic loss. It was a privilege to be one of Greg’s three ‘Best Men’ at his wedding with Sharon in Edinburgh and to have had his great friendship for the best part of thirty years. A true Gentleman of rare wit, good taste and always honourable integrity. I shall miss you deeply my friend, so many great memories, wild laughs and adventures we shared together in Dublin, Scotland, London, Bristol and even Weston Super Mare. I’m equally heartbroken that I can’t make it over for the service today, but I shall be thinking of you all with tremendous sadness and deep love. To Finley, Zack and Casey, be strong – your father was truly a Prince and his memory will last forever.
To Klara and all your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. This is so sad and a huge loss for all. Sending Love, comfort and strength to you ❤️
With great sadness I send deepest sympathy to you, Lorna and Richard, and your family on the untimely death of your beloved son Greg.
May he rest in peace.
Klara, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Please accept my deepest sympathy Klara on the sudden loss of your brother Greg. May he rest in gentle peace.
The years I lived in Dublin, Greg was like a brother to me. We worked together during the day and rambled about almost every night—watching rugby matches, taking in live music and theatre. We explored the beautiful city and its people together. Laughs and stories from those days I’ve cherished all these years.

Once, I fell ill—and as a Canadian in Dublin, Greg was the first person I thought to call. I spent the night in St. James’. When I woke up, the nurse told me Greg had stayed by my side all night, only leaving when they assured him I’d be okay and finally kicked him out just before dawn. ‘He’s a good friend,’ said the nurse.

I’ve yet to meet a man with a bigger heart, a better sense of humour, or a stronger sense of integrity. Even back then, his greatest dream was to be a husband and father. I’m so thrilled that his dreams came true.

Sending love to his family and friends from Los Angeles. My heart is broken.
