Farewell Grellan. Rest in Peace. Always the gentleman and never an unkind work passed your lips in our experience. On my visits I had many a cup of tea from the china and of course the update on the wellbeing of the local community.
In my youth you were regularly on hand to support us in Birchgrove especially with 'throwing in the turf'. Of course I can't not mention the card playing. You quietly made your successful play while the company, Frank in particular who was always a master of amusing banter, made such occasions so enjoyable.
A happy and welcoming house always and I've no doubt you will be greatly missed. Loved by us all.
