R I P Greta .I believe that you’re reunited with Dermot n all your family who have gone before you. I was so pleased to be able to view the Requiem Mass on Saturday n appreciated the kind n personal stories from Fr. who knew Gretta very well.
On a personal note, the only person that I recognized at the Mass was my brother Tadhg McCarthy who of course told me later about meeting Greta’s family n the Dukelow family who I remember as longtime neighbors/friends in Seskin.
Also I’m almost sure that I recognized the photo on the coffin as being the one that they proudly displayed in their home n it was taken on their honeymoon in Paris back in February 1962.
I am Mary née McCarthy , Jennie’s daughter n Tadgh’s sister .
May Greta’s memory be a blessing for all who mourne her at this time .
