I want to take a moment to honor a truly remarkable man - my boss. He was someone who started with nothing and built a business empire through sheer determination and vision. He was active, driven, and never stopped working toward his goals, even in his final days.

But beyond his achievements, he was a man with a genuinely caring heart. He looked out for everyone around him and deeply loved his family, especially he was a proud Grandfather :)

To me, and to many others - he was a true inspiration. A self-made leader who showed us what it means to be successful, honorable, and strong. He leaves behind not just a legacy in business, but in the lives he touched.

I first got to know Gus when I was involved in Cork 20 Inter. Rally in mid 80's.I became C.O.C. in 1987 and he was always so supportive and with Sean Whyte entering a 2 x car team for many years.A great competitor,a real gentleman and a wonderful leader and business man.
Now that he has reached the final control I am certain there will be many rally discussions with Andrew R.I.P. after checking in.

Fond memories of meeting Gus in a number of differing countries over the years and always surrounded by his loving family. The last time was in the family home, watching him pampering the dogs and feeding them bacon from, or I should say at, the dining table. Just a special family man.
