Sorry to hear of the sad passing of Gussie. You always knew it was summer in Enniscrone when Gussie would arrive.He would often visit our house while here. We used to enjoy his chats, he would tell us all about his best friend Paddy, his home in finglas, his dog Queenie and always loved a cream bun. May be rest in peace.

Very fond childhood memories of Gussie coming to Enniscrone and to the Atlantic Hotel my homeplace.
He used to come into the kitchen to chat to my Mum Angela. She was very fond of him, his chat and his wit. More often than not he would make himself at home and sit for a bite to eat in the kitchen and chat away to all there.
