To David and Family, I would like to express my sympathy and condolences to you all following the passing of your beloved, Gwen. I had the pleasure of working with Gwen in Mount Anville Secondary School, a wonderful colleague and dedicated teacher. I treasure many happy memories. May Gwen eternally rest in peace.
I and Christine Hall (formerly Martin) shared a 1 bedded flat with 3 single beds with Gwen back in the days when we were all studying at Trinity
Last night Christine, I and another friend, Hazel Scott ( formerly McIlroy) who were flat mates of ours at different times and students together, were at a quiz night and we were talking about Gwen
I was searching for her today to see if I could find news of where she was- too late
I’m so sorry for your loss . As well as being in flats with Gwen for a few student years I also spent the summer with her in Amsterdam, working in the Alpha Hotel
She was my Matron of Honour when I married
I regret my neglect in not getting in touch sooner
Back in the day we were really close Sylvia

My sincere condolences to you all. I worked with Gwen for many years in Mount Anville. I am so sorry to hear she has passed away and that I have missed her service. I will remember you all in my prayers
I am so saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved Gwen - wife mother and grandmother- I remember well when you David introduced this dashing beautiful girl from Trinity all those years ago- she was vivacious friendly and totally engaging - and she took all our confusing personalities in her stride - her gentle persona endeared her to everyone who had the privilege to meet her - I only can guess at the loss being felt by you David and your beloved families- I hope these few words may ease your grief in some little way by knowing she was loved dearly by all who met her on the journey of life and most especially those of us who enjoyed her company when we had occasion to socialise together in the old Royal - with sincere condolences- Liam Kilkenny
Ii would like to submit my total andsincere to David and all the family.

I was so saddened to hear of Gwen's passing. May she rest in peace. I worked with Gwen marking Geography papers every summer for over 20 years. She had such a love for and in depth knowledge of Geography and came into her own when discussing and debating marking schemes etc. All the while her kindness and support shone through and I'm glad to say that over the years we became very good friends and enjoyed meeting up for lunch outside of the 'marking season'. My sincerest sympathy David, Alison , Pamela, Neil and Gwen's beloved grand children on the loss of one of life's ladies.
Deepest sympathy to the Bannister family on the loss of Gwen
Worked with Gwen for 20 years every summer at Geography marking
A knowledgeable and compassionate lady who always looked out for the underdog
