Sincere condolences to Gwen's family and friends at this very difficult time. It was a pleasure to work with Gwen. An amazing person and fantastic colleague. RIP Gwen.
Throughout your life people come and go and I met Gwen back in 1993 in Oman people said we were only friends because we could only understand each others accents!!! I was so homesick and wanted to go home but you took me under your wing and really looked after me I called you my Omani Mammy!!! We shared the same sense of humour and I’ve great memories. Sadly we lost touch after I returned to the uk but I never forgot you and when social media came about I searched for you and finally found you on Linkedin a few years ago when we spoke it was like it was only last week not 30 years!!! Sadly we think we have time and we kept meaning to arrange to meet up but cruel circumstances prevented that but I cherish our WhatsApp messages and jokes we would share. You were my angel on earth and now you’ve earned your place in heaven Gwen, I will never forget you my lovely friend and I am forever thankful for knowing you rest in peace love Carol xx
