Deepest sympathy to Aidan and Andrea ( Aidan thanks for your phone call) also to Robert and Elizabeth and all the Maxwell and McQuillan families on your great loss Gwen will be missed a lot. I knew Gwen a long time, both she and Sylvia worked with me in Murray’s, Haddington road, way back in the 60’s also we were in the Pioneer club.I was at her wedding and we sheared a birthday on September 9th. I will miss her phone calls, since my fall three years ago, she would ring me and talk about our medical problems and boy had we a lot to talk about. Gwen you are now reunited with Dessie and all the McQuillan family gone before you.
Sorry I was unable to attend Mass this morning due to health matters, but I did tune in, good to see Fr Paul there. God bless all

So sad to hear of the death of Gwen. I sang with her for many years in Our Lady’s Choral
Society, and also many times with the Lourdes Choir. I trust that Gwen will now be singing with the choirs of angels in the heavens and that one day we will all meet again. May she have eternal peace and eternal rest.

I was sorry to read Gwendoline's death notice. She trained me in my first job on leaving school in Murrays, way back in the late 60s. She was so kind and helpful to me.
