Saddened and shocked to hear the news that Hafeez passed away. Most Saturdays and Sundays he would be in FBT gym and always chatted to us both since day 1. The friendliest and warmest personality and a real gentleman. We missed his smile these past few weekends…We only heard the news today and would like to pass on sincerest sympathies to all his family. May he rest in peace. Amen 🙏

An Ode to my brother
A man of wisdom, kind, compassionate and God fearing .

Each time you pop into my memory: I asked God why but ( oye olorun) God knows why.

As a young Teenager growing up around you, you taught me a lot. You always corrected me during our educational debates “ you are cramming the definition -you need to understand the whole subject “

You challenged bad bahaviour, which was rare amongst young people.

I remember taken ill when I visited you at offa Polytechnic .

You looked out for me and nursed me. As I was in and out of consciousness.

I saw how worried you are but you kept running up and down to get me a doctor. I wish I can repay this at your time of need.

For the young Kayla/ Kayden and Mandy, May God always be their strength.

Hafeez I want you to know you left us all heart broken.

A gapping hole in our hearts and you are irreplaceable.

We hold on to your smile, your character and integrity.

I had the honor to be one of the first to greet Hafeez in AWS when he joined. I always knew that if I need some advice I can count on Hafeez to point me in the right direction. Even when I was trying to sing something, he always had a constructive criticism, he always said: "You can't sing!" :D

Hafeez always had a smile for everyone and I will miss working with him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hafeez at our mutual friend's, brother's birthday celebration and in spite of the brief encounter, he came across as a very nice and decent chap. Death of a friend and work colleague taken from us too soon is difficult for me but heartbreaking death of a father and partner is hard to put words to.
