I was very sad to hear of Hannahs passing.I spent some memorable summers in the Foley household with Hannah Patsy and Betty as a teenager.Never to be forgotten and always remembered with a smile on my face.

I didn't hear of Hannah's passing until now. I previously worked for a number of years in Carechoice and I have met many people that I have cared for over the years and Hannah is certainly someone who imprinted on my heart her cheeky approach to everything and he kindness knew no end. I witnessed just a small glimpse of what an amazing mother and grandmother and great grandmother she was from the love that you all showed her and all of your dedication to spending your days focused on her. May you all take comfort in the knowledge that your did her so proud in the care you gave her. I often think of the story of when she was painting or clearing out the gutters and one of you had to take away the ladder to try to stop her doing it and she was shortly seen coming from the hardware after buying another one. Hannah rest well in the arms of your loving father Jesus for now you are back home with him. Condolences to all.

Here in Seattle and Walnut Creek, California we’re thinking of you with warm thoughts and sympathy. I never met your dear mother, Hannah , my first cousin. But I feel like I know her through all the wonderful stories my sister Margie tells of her. Your mother welcomed Margie and Hal so warmly and introduced them to all their Irish relatives. Not to mention all the delicious meals she prepared for them.
Your mother was a very special person full of life, love, and kindness which I know lives on in her family. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her and this makes me very sad at this time.
Gerald, I know how happy your visits to my mother’s place in California always made her. I heard all about your legendary singing and dancing. My mother always talked about you so fondly. So please take comfort in knowing that you added so much
joy and love to your dear mother’s life. God bless you and all the family.
