Not long after I was adopted, Rose and Tony called to Mum and Dad with a gift for me, something I still have to this day. Rose was a lady in every way and I will always have fond memories of the annual celebrations of the Cobh Mission Unit of which my late uncle, Fr John Spriggs was a proud member.

In working with Anthony for the bones of 20 years, I felt I got to know Rose even better and I know how proud she was of all her family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace with a favourable wind guiding her home to the Lord that she loved.

It was with great sadness that we heard of Rose's passing. She was a gentle, sweet lady and was dearly loved. She will be greatly missed.
