My sincere sympathy to Maria & Orfhlaith & the wider Sheehy family on Hannah’s recent death. She was such a very gentle lady.

How very sorry I was to hear of Hannah’s passing. She was my neighbour and great friend. She was so proud of her two lovely girls and particularly proud of her 3 grandchildren. We will all miss meeting her around The Park with her cheery smile and always had time for a chat. I’m sure she’s with her beloved Kieran whom she so missed. May they both rest in peace.

We were both so sorry to hear of Hannah’s passing . She was a wonderful friend and neighbour over the years.
She was also a very treasured teacher during her time in Loreto Foxrock and taught both my daughters Caitriona and Geraldine .

My sincere sympathies to Maria and Órfhlaith and all the family. I feel grateful to have taught with Hannah for many years. Such a supportive, fair-minded, hardworking colleague; with a great sense of 'divilment' that helped to keep a healthy perspective on school life. I learnt so much from Hannah and her peers, who definitely set a high standard for this novice teacher. I watched with admiration at their skilled handling and care of the different, little (and big!) personalities.
Maria and Órfhlaith, you are a credit to your Mam and Dad. Such a beautiful send off - the traditional music at the church and at the graveside (leis an damsha beag freisin!) was very special.
