My deepest sympathy to Peter, Margret, Attracta, Emmet and all the Boland family, wishing you strength and comfort in the days ahead knowing how much your loved one meant to so many. The world is a little darker from the loss of dear Harry. It has been a great honor to have known such a kind generous spirit his phenomenal memory of a family milestone and his intellectual curosity. May you have a treasure box full of memories of your loved one that shines like jewels. Forever remembered, forever missed.

It was with great sadness I read of Harry’s passing just now. Harry was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He used visit my Aunts Nuala and Patricia Lennon in Moorehall village frequently. He would sort out their little garden and planted many a flower and he never came empty handed, he would have a box of chocolates or a plant and a tin of biscuits at Christmas. He was a very respectful man, as I said a true gentleman. May his gentle soul rest in peace RIP

My deepest condolences to all of the Bolands. Don’t think I have ever heard so many kind words about anyone as I did about Harry over the years. Thank you for being such a good friend to my Dad and Mum and my brother too. RIP Harry.

Words fail me to speak of your dear father Harry,
He simply was the nicest gentleman I have ever known. What he had, he had it in spades. I had many many laughs, fun times, car trips and sing songs etc with him and all were memorable. Our town is a sadder place without him. I will miss him. Rest in peace my dear old friend.

He was involved with Dundalk parents and friends and worked tirelessly to help improve life for those not able to speak for themselves. Harry was one of the greatest and kindest gentlemen I have ever met - always putting others ahead of himself and for anyone fortunate enough to know him made their life so much brighter. He will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace

To you all . Your father and mother were very kind to our family after the death of our mother Patrica and my father David. I remember well we played with you all as our mums would be chatting over many cups of tea. Harry played a lot of golf with dad. He was great at visiting dad in his carehome when he was diagnosed with vascular dementia.

We have been great friends since and only last Autumn spent a couple of hours with us.
