I used to enjoy watching his Gathering Heritage series, which he co-hosted with Jason McGee on Youtube.
He will be sadly missed as he was the King of Nostalgia.

My sincerest condolences to all the Lee family. Harry was a true gentleman. When Aidan and I opened up on our own in the garage, he was without a doubt our favourite customer. He always had a smile and always had time for a chat and a story. If i was to say that the world lost one of its favourite sons, that would be a gross understatement. Harry will be very sadly missed. God rest you Harry, you were one of our own 💔

Deepest sympathies to Harry’s sons and daughter.And to the rest of his family and friends. Harry and his family were great neighbours of mine for over 12 years in Oaklawns in Dundalk. Harry was a great neighbour along with his late wife and children.The entire Lee family were so kind to me during my time in Oaklawns. Harry has contributed so much to the community.His shoe shop in Crowe street was top class. Harry’s smile and super sense of humour was a great asset to his customers. Harry was a great promoter of the arts in Dundalk. Harry joined Dundalk FM from the start . He had the flagship programme on the station.It was a powerful programme and required excellent broadcasting skills from Harry.
He later moved on to doing individual interviews with people who had direct knowledge of local history.
Harry and his kids loved Dundalk FC and were great supporters. A tribute to Harry was made by stadium announcer at Oriel by Mickey Duffy last Thursday before the Bray game. It got a great reaction from supporters.
As time went on I would bump into Harry now and again in Dundalk.Those accidental meetings grew less and less over the past two years.
Harry leaves behind him a fantastic legacy. His involvement in the Dundalk Maytme Festival was legendary
To Harry’s children, you have so much to be proud of In what he did for you as a family and what he did for the community and town.. When you lose a parent May Harry Rest in Peace

Harry's soft spoken voice and kindly manner was a joy to behold, always happy to chat and share his own memories of time's past in his beloved Dundalk. My sincere sympathies to all Harry's family at this sad time. Harry was surely "Mr. Dundalk" to so many people. He had such a knowledge and love of Dundalk and it's people. A legend if ever there was one. The radio studio was a real home from home for Harry. We have lost a true treasure and a real friendly gentleman. May he rest in eternal peace now as the final curtain has come down on a wonderful life so well lived.

I have very fond memories working in the Town Hall as front of house for Drama's & Dundalk International Maytime Festival for many years. Harry kept in touch with me when I left Dundalk all those years ago. Harry was a true gentleman & Dundalk will miss him. Rest in Peace Harry 🙏

I'm very sad to hear of Harry's passing. I had the good fortune of knowing him during my time working for & volunteering with Dundalk FM from 2003 to 2010. Harry was the consummate professional & he always had a smile on his face, & a kind word of advice. He clearly cared a great deal about what he did & about doing it well & his love for Dundalk & it's people was evident on every one of his shows. Farewell to a gentleman & a Dundalk legend. R.I.P. Harry.

What can one say about Harry Lee
He was a legent, I first got to know Harry when he had his shoe shop, then the many shows he was imvolved in, the the Radio days.
