Harry O'Meara

I only heard today of Harry’s death so sorry for all of you. I remember your mum and dad visiting us in Bantry in the 1950’s.

So sad to hear that Harry died. We soldiered together in the Clare Chemists Association in the 1970s. Harry was always a rock of common sense and when he spoke we listened. There are not many people like Harry OMeara left.

Sending love &sympathies to all the O'Meara family on the death of your dad, Harry. I remember the O'Meara family coming to live at Hillsboro in the 1960's &Harry giving us lifts to school as he went to work in his chemist's shop in Scariff. Lovely Joan was a good friend to me &my grandmother.

Harry was a great friend to my Dad, John Blake and kindly visited him often in his later years until Dad passed June 2013. They had great chats &reminiscences. Harry carried a gift at Dad's funeral. I hope they're having good chats in heaven.
