So sorry to hear of Harry's passing. We knew that when he went out to referee games he'd be firm but fair. He had a rewarding career as a footballer, referee and a ploughman, winning and refereeing championship final at club and county levels, and when behind the plough, taking All-Ireland honours in two grades. In his time as bar owner, he ran many memorable quizzes in Conophys, Frances Street. Sincere sympathy to Ree, Mary and Betty, and other friends and relations. May he rest in peace.

Harry was a great servant and sponsor for our club. He served terms as chairman, senior team manager, senior and junior selector and much more. In his younger years he was an outstanding referee at national level. Rest in peace Harry.
