Thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this time. I was very fond of Heather , truly lovely lady , much wisdom and a wry sense of humour. I hope your many precious memories will bring you peace.
Rest in Peace Heather x
We remember Heather “Feather” as our history teacher with her wonderful dry humor. She and her husband John were close and valued friends of our parents. Condolences to Kim and Lynda and to Susan, Libbo and Jono.
So sorry to hear of the death of my history teacher. She had a great sense of humour and was a lovely kind person. Thanks to her I became an historian.
I am saddened by the passing of such a legend, all those of Glengara will never forget her. My strongest and fondest memory of Mrs Featherstone is her taking her entire 5th Year History class, all 3 of us on a school trip to Kilmainham Jail in her little Mini. She even dropped us off in Dun Laoghaire on the way back, trusting us to return to the school after we had paid McDonalds a visit for lunch. Thank you 'Heather Feather' for the memories, RIP.
I have fond memories of Mrs Featherstone . She was a lady, I never remember her to raise her voice but still had the respect of the class..
My sympathy to both Sue and Libbo and also remembering the Weekes family at this time.
I’m very sorry to learn that Heather has died. I have very many fond memories of her both as a teacher and as a dear colleague. I can remember the excitement when she married John and Miss Kerrison became Mrs Feathersone! She instilled in me a love of history and some years later I was fortunate enough to join her on the teaching staff of Glengara Park.
We, her former teaching colleagues from Glengara Park and Rathdown School
enjoyed her wry sense of humour both in school and outside at our many social gatherings over the years. She will be sadly missed even though we hadn’t been able to enjoy her company in recent years. I send my deepest sympathy to all her family and friends, especially Sue and Libbo.
I would like to send my condolences to Mrs. Featherstone's family.....I remember her as if it were yesterday...loved her history classes....a sad time indeed..
My condolences to all Heather Featherstone's family. I have happy memories of her as one of my favourite teachers at Glengara and as a welcome and witty friend of my mother.
Susan & family. Sending you all my sympathies on the death of your aunt.
Thinking of you at this sad time. RIP.
I offer my special sympathy to my friend Susan, and of course to the wider family.
