I will miss Helen very much. She was a regular feature in my family home in Sandymount and would pop in every Tuesday and Friday on her way back from swimming for a chat and some lunch.

She was loving kind and gentle and was very good to my grandchildren who always called her MEDIUM Helen, because we knew a tall Helen and a short Helen and she was in between in terms of height!

I will miss her visits and her lovely presence. She was a very special person. She used to bring over some of my favourite food sometimes as she was a great cook. She didn't have much, but what she had she shared with everyone. She was incredibly generous that way.

It's so hard to think that I won't see her again, but I am glad her suffering is over as I know the last six months were hard.

I will remember her as I saw her last at Christmas bearing gifts for the grandchildren.

My condolences and my sincerest sympathies to her brothers her sister in law her nephew and niece and their families, and her wider family friends and neighbours.

It was a privilege to sing with Helen in Sandymount Gospel Choir. She bore her illness with such grace and fortitude that few knew about it. We will miss her quiet presence in the sopranos.Rest in peace.

My gentle, loving aunt, Helen, will be greatly missed. I have very fond memories shared with Helen in Dublin and London, especially during my childhood - many involving her tiny Mini.
The 3-4 times in recent years when I surprised Helen while I was in Dublin for work, she always welcomed me warmly, put a roof over my head and we would go out for dinners together.
