My deepest condolences to Margaret, Sheila and Sinead on the passing of poor Helen.... devastating news. We were next door neighbours of the Flynn's in Ballinwillin. Helen and I started school on the same day in 1958 wearing identical red corduroy dresses(we looked swell!)and spent the following 8 eventful years in the wonderful Presentation convent in Mitchelstown. Helen was a rock, never one for turning or deviating from her own values and principles, a carbon copy of her late, great mother. I was not aware that Helen was ill and will regret forevermore not making contact with her, as she had wished. life feels very empty without another of our stalwarts gone to their Maker and to be reunited with her wonderful Mam and Dad and dear John. All I can say, Helen, is, pray for us, and God speed. Suaimhneas siorai, Helen, till we meet again.
