I was so saddened to read of Mrs. Grimes passing, (Helen). Mrs. Grimes to me, as I was a young girl when I worked in her Pharmacy shop on Kimmage Rd. West, and addressed her as Mrs. Grimes to me. I have cherished memories of a very happy period of my life. Mrs. Grimes was an extremely knowledgeable & wise woman, a Lady to the core, respected and admired in her profession and whose customers deeply trusted her recommendations, professionalism, integrity & discretion. Kind and funny. Both herself and her late husband Jim treated me as an employee with kindness and respect, as well as her 3 lovely girls. I’ve carried those warm memories with me down through the Years and remembered Mrs. Grimes on many many occasions over time. I hope that her long and fulfilled life will bring comfort to Helena, Patricia, and Vera. I extend my deepest sympathies to you all as well as your Families and may the cherished moments bring you peace, solace, inspiration, and guidance. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace together with her beloved Jim.

Both Helen & Jim were so good and kind to me in the 80s when l went to study in Dublin I will never forget their kindness sorry l cudnt attend todays funeral mass but l joined you online for a beautiful & fitting tribute
