Helen was a very valued colleague during our time together in Ashton School and I have great memories of working with her.

I fondly remember her Maths and Chemistry classes in the Old School Building in Ashton, she had an incredible grasp of the material, she always seemed so calm and you knew were in safe hands - she was an inspirational teacher and person. A fabulous teacher. A master of her art. Had the precious skill of conveying ideas and concepts so clearly and simply. She simplified maths for hundreds of us in Ashton. A mighty lady. May she rest in piece.

We spent a few days on the driving range where we shared stories of my late uncle and past DGC member Fr Paddy Keating. May Helen Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear this sad news of Helen Hennessy. She was a lovely person and a great teacher who gave you real independence & encouragement to challenge you and to develop your learning as a student. I was very lucky to have her for Science for intercert & for both Maths & Chemistry for LC and enjoyed meeting her in the years after school.
