I just wanted to say how very sorry I was to hear of Helen's passing. I did not know Helen long and unfortunately lost contact with her when the pandemic struck and she moved to Madeira. I met her through a local Gateway Women Meet Up group, a community created for women who are childless not by choice. I was very nervous about attending for the first time but need not have been. Helen was already there (Showcase Cinema cafe in Sheffield) and greeted me with such warmth and kindness. I will never forget that. Her good nature, kindness and wit shone through each time we met. Our friendship was brief but I am so grateful that our paths crossed.
May she rest in peace.
