Our thoughts and prayers are with all Helen’s family and friends at this sudden and difficult time. Helen was a lady of deep faith and we had the privilege of sharing an hour of Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament together just before Christmas May Jesus gather her to himself for eternity and may she be reunited with her precious husband and her beloved daughters.

I was so sad to read the news report of Helen's tragic accident. Although I had sadly lost touch with Helen in recent years, I had been lucky to have rented a room in her apartment in Sligo in the 90s. She was a wonderful landlady and friend. When I married in 2000, herself and Kieran went to extraordinary lengths to arrange a horse drawn carriage from my home to the church in Mohill, Co Leitrim, as the most amazing surprise that totally made my day! She was a fabulous lady and I've thought of her so much over the years and often hoped we would get back in touch..sadly not to be. To all Helen's family I offer my sincerest condolences. It was a pleasure to have known you Helen. Rest in peace.
