I’m so sad to hear of Helen’s passing. Helen was a wonderful Brown Owl to so many girls throughout her years in the Irish Girl Guides and she is very fondly remembered by us all. Helen was a wonderful woman who, through her positive energy, genuine warmth and unending encouragement had a really positive influence on so many of us. Helen will be sadly missed.
As we used to sing at the end of our meetings:
Day is done, gone the sun
From the sea, from the hills, from the sky
All is well, safely rest
God is nigh
Rest in peace Helen

Deepest sympathy to beloved daughters Liz and Lorraine, cherished grandchildren Scott, Craig, Jennifer, Cameron and Danielle on the passing of a truly remarkable and spirited lady. Welcomed me with open arms into the family, and at many an occasion. Will fondly remember Helen, especially for her sense of humour and quick wit, but also her Glaswegian pride and upbringing, and positive outlook on life. A beautiful and courageous soul, a joy and pleasure to have shared her company.
