We are so sorry to learn of Helen’s passing and too late to attend her funeral. Very fond memories always of our cousins’ very fun visits, with much laughter, to Carrick on Shannon. Then our visits to Dublin, especially to the shop in Inchicore when Des would fill our arms with gifts from the shop. We will miss having lost our last Swords’ cousin. But our thoughts are with Liam, Luke and families who have lost a wonderful mother. May Helen rest in peace. The Fox Family Galway, Adelaide, London and LA. Previously Nursing Sister then Nurse Manager on the Intensive Care Unit Since hearing of Helen`s death, I have been in touch with nearly thirty staff who were colleagues and friends of Helen, We are so sad for Liam, Luke and their families. Helen was a wonderful very special Nursing sister. Loyal, caring, compassionate, empathetic, supportive, totally professional, and also very funny. Always with a smile and a ready to laugh, no matter how busy and difficult the days and nights were. It is remarkable that some of these ex staff knew Helen from the early 1970`s and yet she is so fondly remembered. Our deepest sympathy on your loss, but may you gain comfort on hearing of .her Birmingham legacy and the impression she left on all of us
