Thank you, everyone, for your sincere words. My mum is greatly missed even though we lived far apart, she is always in my thoughts.

David & family - you are in my thoughts and prayers as are all of your Mam's friends, at this sad time. She was a great person and it was a privilege to have known her. You would have been proud of the send-off she got and it was very moving to hear about the way the residents of St. Brendans's turned out to greet her on her last visit yesterday. We were all deeply touched by your own tribute to your dear mother which was relayed so clearly at today's Mass. She will be with you more closely than ever from her new life with God - the God to whom she was so loyal. . We Mercy Sisters owe Helen our deepest gratitude for the care she gave to so many of our sick Sisters.. She literally "sang" many of them into the next life! Helen amused us often by the wonderful, perceptive ways in which she mimicked our mannerisms !! She amused but never hurt! We always knew who she was portraying without a single word being spoken!
The light and peace of Heaven to you, Helen!
