What a wonderful person Helen was. So gentle & kind, with a wicked sense of humour! Helen & Gertie were best friends, & accordingly, ‘honorary’ aunties to each other’s families, and we all enjoyed special treat days to the cinema & restaurants, rare fun filled events for us ! I was lucky to work alongside Helen for several years in Riordan’s Travel, and enjoyed even more her friendship & wonderful company & kindness-and boy, did she have a soft spot for Joe & our kids! How much she loved her family was evident to all, and the pride & love she had for all her nieces and nephew's -she really was a very special lady.

So sorry to hear of Helen's death. She was my first cousin and very kind to me as a child. I remember many nights with her and my mum and dad in Searson's in Dublin and many visits to Mayorstone Park. Many condolences to Donal. RIP Helen.

Sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. Helen was the kindest second aunt I ever had. I remember her bringing me to the panto every year and to sleep overs at her cool apartment every second weekend. Helen was so kind and generous to me and all my family. We will miss her dearly
