We all have the fondest memories of Helen from her time as a substitute teacher in St Patrick's Loreto in Bray and her visits while in college. Even after moving to the US and Canada, we always looked forward to her yearly trips home. Ever the lady, always unassuming, always kind and encouraging.

Helen has left a void that cannot be filled.

I was very saddened to read of the death of Helen. We were in class together in St. Louis Convent, Monaghan, many years ago. She was a very kind, gentle, clever and unassuming person and was highly regarded by her classmates and teachers. It was a great pleasure to have known her. She always made us feel so welcome when visiting Toronto when we were growing up and I have very fond memories of those holidays and her visits to Ireland. She is dearly missed.
