My deepest condolences to Irene and the Tierney family. I was in school with Helen and lived down the road from her, in Castletown. I will always remember Helen’s bright smile, warmth and kindness. A true lady, Helen was a friend to everyone who crossed her path. Rest in peace Helen.

My friend Helen, you had my back at every turn.❤️

You really were selfless and cared so much about everyone else right to the end. You would do anything for anybody, unless it involved climbing a ladder or a dodgy staircase.😉
Our many car journeys to every corner of Ireland were full of humour and food. Many a diet failed to a 10am breakfast roll at a garage in some random town or a pub lunch.
“I better tell Colin I won’t need dinner tonight” was your line.

I can’t imagine how Colin, Irene, Dylan and Hannah’s lives must feel without your loving smile and support every day. You beamed with pride and smiled when speaking about Hannah’s goalkeeping performances or Dylan’s college. I’m sure your spirit and heart will live on strongly through both of them. You poured your heart and soul into your beautiful family and loving home.

We all have a hole left in our lives that will never be filled, but what a pleasure it was to have had you in our lives, all be it for much too short a time!

I hope we meet again one day my friend.
