We are deeply shocked to hear of Helen's passing. She was such a vibrant part of the community and a wonderful contributor. Our children and grandchildren all loved the sea sports activities she provided. Our deepest sympathies to Sean, Mark and Alice on your sad loss. RIP Helen.

I was a regular attendee at the watersports camps in Derrynane during my childhood summers and remember well Helen’s kindness. She always had a warm and encouraging smile for all she met. May she rest in peace.

We are so saddened to hear of Helen's passing. We first met her in the late '70s in Carrigaholt, co Clare, where she and Aussie were lobster fishing. They subsequently introduced us to the magic of Derrynane, which we came to love, as they did. Their lifelong friendship enriched our lives. To Sean, Ali and Mark, you reflect everything that was good in your parents and you can be immensely proud of the mark they leave on Derrynane and the local community.
