Peggy and family, so sorry to hear of Lena’s passing. We first met Lena & Bill in 1995 while over from New Zealand looking up his Treacy side, Lena loved hearing all about her NZ & Australian extended Treacy family.
She was fabulous, had a wonderful sense of humour, great company (Bill too) May she rest in peace with Bill.
Forever missed. 🌺

Dearest Lena, may you rest in peace. You went out of your way to welcome Mam, Tríona and I to St. Conlon's. Only know you since summer but it feels like much longer. I will miss your lovely sincere smile and friendly conversation. We loved hearing the links with Manchester, and Whalley Rd. We also enjoyed your stories and songs from Toomevara. What a wonderful command of language you had a great love of french and huge respect for Gaeilge. I will miss you terribly.
