My condolences to you and your families for your loss. Henning was a genuinely funny, kind, and caring person and he will be missed.
Henning was a Gentleman.
I lost my words when I learned of his passing, but everyone else has beautifully expressed what a one in a billion kind of guy he was, every word his loving family and friends have expressed in this book are true. He was one of the most laid back, kindest and funniest men I've ever met.
I didn't really know Henning well for long, but for the time that I had the honour to know him, he was always so easy to get on with. He was a friend to everyone naturally, and I don't think I'm speaking out of turn to say we've all lost one of our best.
He wasn't perfect, but didn't try to be. He squeezed the toothpaste from the middle of the tube like a monster, and asked no apology! There are no doubt other terribly diabolical examples as well, but they pale in comparison to the good he brought to the world and he will be missed so incredibly much by so many people.
My deepest condolences to all of Hennings Family, to Julie, his Parents and Siblings, I am so sorry for your loss.

I know we have not been in touch. I heard the news from Neilo. I’m shocked and upset. Henning and I rarely spoke, yet I always felt comfortable around him, he had a natural warmth, as do you.
All the cigarettes we smoked and stories we shared on that balcony are behind us now. Our memories are not.
My heart goes out to you.

It was great to get to know Henning over the years as part of the Blizzard Family. Experiencing starting new in two different countries certainly brings people together. He was a fine man and will be missed.

One of my oldest friends in Blizzard, going all the way back to our first meeting at the Etap Hotel in Velizy as we both got ready for our very first day of work in the company.
An eternally joyful soul, rarely seen without a smile, ready to bring humor and levity to any situation with a cheeky smirk and a clever remark.
He lives on within us, in our memories, in our hearts, in the ways which he made our lives better through friendship and companionship. Gone, but never forgotten.

I first met Henning in 2006 on my first days at IBlizzard, and while we chatted and met while out on occasion it wasn't really until we moved over to Cork and kicked things off.
Henning was one of the friendliest, comforting, positive and helpful people in the office. Not to mention he scrubbed up well in a suit.
I'd regale work colleagues with tales of my video game escapades over the previous weekend, and he always encouraged me to take up blogging about my adventures as he thought I had an engaging style of writing.
In later years we were in the same team, enjoying team building adventures and weekly shenanigans like changing over monitors trick people - Henning definitely had a cheeky side once you got to know him.
We were so happy when Henning and Julie accepted the invite to our wedding, and one of our happiest memories will be of the laughs we had that evening.
Fast forward a couple of years, and we were able to introduce Henning to the two nearest members of the family, Ava and Bucky! He embraced both of them as he did the first time he met Susie, and with the same warmth and compassion as my first days working with him.
Henning lives on within each of us, in our hearts and souls, and we should all strive to be a little more like him.

It was with deep regret, that I learned of the death of Henning. He was such a nice person and left much too soon. To his wife Julie and family, my deepest sympathy on their great loss.
