It was a real privilige knowing you, Etta, all those years in St Anthony's Bridge Club and being your partner and your friend. You were a sharp player and I often smile at your mantra :
'Know when to hold them and know when to fold them'
You are sadly missed. Rest in peace 🙏

So very sorry to hear of your loss, Miriam, Mark and Norman. Etta was a beautiful and dignified lady.
Very sorry to learn of your mum’s passing. Fond memories of many chats over the years when catching up with Miriam. Always a great lady with lovely sense of humour. Condolences to Norman, Mark, Miriam and her grand children
Etta Aunty Etta, we had quite a few conversations at Howth Road especially in the past year. Chatting about her online Bridge games since Covid, about the plight of Palestine and social issues. She was so well versed in all that was happening in the world and oozed empathy.
Etta, to me, became my second mum since the passing of Frances in 2019. She would phone me in Cork out of the blue and that gave me so much joy.
Etta you are somewhere over the rainbow 🌈 now and joining those who have already passed, the people who mattered in your kife
Thinking of Miriam, Mark, Norman and all who were close to Etta. 🙏💔💞
