It doesn’t seem real knowing that you aren’t sitting around the corner watching the Chase or reading the paper
Words can’t describe how much I miss you
I have countless memories with you from going to the cinema to watch whatever new film was out or you talking to me about your life in WW2 or on the railway
But I know that you are happy with Uncle Darren and Nanny Teresa now and I’ll see you again at some point

I can’t believe that you’re gone. It’s so weird knowing that you’re not around the corner, sitting in your armchair watching re-runs of The Chase or old John Wayne films. You were always there, a pillar of our family, undoubtedly the glue of it. Full of joy and happiness, I will never forget your mischievous grin. Some of my fondest memories with you span from watching the latest James Bond movies with you and Uncle Darren to solving the arithmetic problems that you would give me every Sunday morning when you would come around for tea and a chat with Dad.
I miss you so much and your passing still doesn’t seem like real life.
I love you Grandad, may you rest in peace.
