Sincere sympathy to Margaret and the Lund family on the death of Henry. Worked for Henry, nearly 30 years ago, in Philadelphia and he made a strong, positive impression on me as a wet behind the ears management trainee. From time to time, I had to drive him places and on one trip I had a near accident with another vehicle in this huge, clunky old Jeep Wagoneer that we used as the Clondalkin company car (courtesy of Art Litho!). He looked at me calmly and said, "Sean, whatever about you, the company at this time can't afford to lose me. You need to be more careful" It wasn't his ego that caused him to say that, it was just a fact and Henry made his decisions based on hard facts! He truly talked the talk and walked the walk! I learned quite a few business and life lessons from him. Codladh Samh.

Dear Margaret, sincere condolences to you and your family. Henry's passing has left a void in Lori and my heart.
It was 33 years ago that I met Henry but I remember that day, just like it was yesterday. Little did I know on that rainy morning, my life would never be the same. He was a leader who also listened. He was a friend who was always there. The sailing trips with Henry will forever be treasured.
For those of us who knew Henry one thing is for sure...Henry may be gone but he will never be forgotten.

Sincere condolences on Henry’s passing. A legendary pathfinder in business; the turnaround of Clondalkin Group, its acquisitive development, the first elective take-private of an Irish listed company. Less well known, it was the world premier Y2K high leverage bond launch. Always at the pioneering edge. A great many investors benefited from his originality. A great many admirers copied him.
Henry was full of energy and curiosity. Always sampling new experiences, reading foreign language newspapers to practice reading the classics untranslated. He knew when to sit tight and when to up the game. More than tactical, he was visionary and painstaking in execution.
Henry was super fun to travel with. Sometimes, we had misadventures. Wrong trains. Wrong places. Tilting the wrong windmills and so on. We learned from these experiences. Henry was a lot like Mark Twain, the bad things turned out to be not that bad at all.
Today, Margaret, we are thinking of you and your family and your frequent visits to our battle grounds over the years. You were the best and most valuable supporter. Henry is a great loss. An original legend.
Rest in Peace.

Dearest Margaret and family, we are so sad at Henry’s passing. We have so many happy memories of our time together from Philadelphia through Amsterdam and back to Dublin. He was the most inspiring boss a young man could ever have and I can remember well the first day we met almost 30 years ago in Philadelphia. He was one of a kind and we are so privileged to have spent so much time with him. We will never forget him and all the amazing memories. May he RIP.
