I am another who has nothing but happy memories and gratitude for all that Henry did in coaching us all over in the Marsh – and ferrying us around West Cork for matches. I was only thinking of him recently and wondered how he managed to coach pretty much all of the underage teams at the same time! I’m just sorry I didn’t get back in contact to say thanks directly before he passed away. RIP Henry you’ll be remembered fondly.

I worked with Henry in social work in Cork City in the 1970s, before his assignment to Skibbereen as the first and only social worker in child care.
