Herbert was a true gentleman, and cared so much about the day to day running of the club while at the helm. He was an officer of the club for many years and gave his time so willingly for many years.
He will be truly missed.

He was a legend in his lifetime and a true inspiration to all who cared about nature and this planet.
County Mayo was enlivened by and honoured to have Herbert and his beloved Anne RIP , amongst us for nearly 60 years.
He will be forever fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him in this life.
