I am shocked and saddened to learn of Hilary’s passing. She was an absolutely lovely lady and a friendly Irish voice in an adopted country. My thoughts and prayers to John and the extended family.

We were not able to travel but we had a mass offered for the day and all our daily prayers for Hilary. For her ever loving Mom nDad, brothers and sister, in laws, nephews and nieces. Especially Erin, Max, Killian and Ceara her children and son in law. For her husband my brother John L. We will miss the jokes, laughter and sports, badminton, rowing. Lively conversations. So very sorry to hear this sad news .Hilary and I first met in Loriam Beauty Therapy College . Me a Cork girl and Hilary a Kildare /Cork girl who lived Monday -Friday on a ship on Sir John Rodgersons quay Dublin with her brother's and dad ....We had many many days of fun and mischief ! I am truly sorry for your loss .I lost contact when she and John headed for America but always hoped we would meet again . May she Rest in Peace .Love and Strength to you all xx

I was so sorry to read of Hilary's death. I worked in O'Shea's garage in the late '70's/early '80's and her dad would bring her in with her brother during times when they were off school. I remember her as a very beautiful, friendly, charming, happy young girl. She left a lasting impression on me. May her soul shine brightly in Heaven Maureen O'Neill

I’m so sad to hear about Hillary’s passing. I remember sitting beside her in class in St Mary’s . Oh she was a wonderful happy, kind and caring person . Condolences to John and her beautiful family. I will always remember her. Rest in Peace Hillary.

Such a shock to hear this awful news this evening. Hilary was such fun and full of devilment in St Mary’s and outside. She was a near neighbour so we were regular visitors to her house when we were younger. I was so sad to miss a visit from her to my workplace must be a year ago now. Was heartbroken to hear from Robert that she wasn’t well. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. I can honestly say Hilary will never be forgotten when we talk about St Mary’s days she’s one of the first names mentioned. Rest in Peace Hilary xx 🙏🏻❤️
