It’s so true time and tide wait for no
man. I saw Hilda last at the funeral of another school friend . Parting words were we must meet up soon . That was 22 years ago. Can’t believe it . Hilda and I went for an entrance exam to do Occupational Therapy. I remember my Mother drove the pair of us . Alas we were unsuccessful I don’t think we even knew what O T was ? We did a lot of laughing though ! Dear Hilda rest in eternal peace.

So very sorry to hear of the recent passing of dear Hilda.
Great memories come to mind of our school days in 'Clermont' Rathnew and even better memories of the show jumping days on the Leinster circuit.
Unfortunately, we only heard of Hilda's passing yesterday and therefore sadly missed her funeral service in Johnstown.

I was just so sorry to hear of the death of Hilda this evening. I haven’t seen her for a few years, but we were in school together and were in touch for a few years after. I remember her wit, humour and sense of fun. Remembering her and thinking of her family in these sad days. May she rest in peace and May her family be given all that they need. Pat 🙏

I’m sorry to learn of your mums passing… a tough time for you, Charles and your families.

I read that she was unwell and hope that she didn’t have a difficult time over the last number of months / years.

We lived close by and I had hoped our paths would cross at some point - however with modern life it wasn’t to be!

Dearest cousin ..... my memories of our times together go right back to early/ mid 1950s. Holidays in Glengarrif , both of us falling off the horse on the farm in Kilnamanagh ...... so many happy memories culminating in you playing Fleetwood Max's Albatross so wonderfully on the piano in the sitting room in Kilnamanagh ......... Have a wonderful onward journey and Love to Carmel and Charlie ....... xx ......
