My sincerest condolences to Helen, Harry,Dick and Hilda's children and grandchildren at this very sad time. I hope we can think of her leaving her suffering behind and that she has peace at last. Hilda was an incredible soldier fighting her serious illness with great fortitude and strength for so many years, but she always smiled at us.
Hilda will be remembered for her sunny personality and kindness to others.
When my 2 children were young and I brought them to Ireland, Hilda entertained and gave them so much pleasure that her generosity will always be remembered and we were so grateful for her happy smiling energy.
I presume she is an angel in heaven smiling down at those she left behind.

Many happy memories of Sundays in Howth as a child at Aunt Hilda's, and a deep-found respect for the way she handled my father later in life. Time has passed quickly, but these memories remain strong. Sadly, I cannot join in the final celebration of a life well lived. My sincerest condolences goes out to all.
