Wir sind sehr traurig über den Tod von Hildegard und möchten euch allen herzliches Beileid aussprechen.

Wir sind Renate und Loni aus Leinburg und haben Hildegard oder besser die Eckardts in unseren jungen Jahren gut gekannt. Wir haben sehr viel von ihrer Lebensweise sehr geschätzt. Noch heute gibt es Brot und Lammbraten nach Rezept von Hildegard und unsere Tochter heißt Anke. Wir haben euch einige Mal in Irland besuchen dürfen und haben tolle Erinnerungen daran.

Dietrich ,ye shared a very special and lifelong bond — together ye complemented each other beautifully and worked as an incredible team, a partnership that inspired all who knew you .. Hildegarde was a truly remarkable woman whose love for nature and the outdoors, creativity as an artist, and devotion as a Mum and grandmother touched so many lives. Her warmth, talent, and kindness made her a cherished friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. . May her spirit continue to inspire, and may the beautiful memories of her life and the love she shared bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

I so valued Hildegard as a friend and neighbour - long chats in her garden, cups of coffee, lots of stories always and lots of laughter. One of my favourite things was how she talked about her paintings - each one was a moment of experience, hiking on the mountain or paddling in her kayak on the sea, and she brought that experience, and her relationship to the memory of it, vividly to life with her words. I will miss her presence and her quiet strength. Rest in peace, dear friend.
