To the Rutledge Family.

Nodie was as much a part of our family as she was her own. A frequent and very welcome visitor to Mount Carmel Road, both she and Bill joined us for many parties and celebrations. We are grateful for her friendship and visits with our mother Maeve for many many years, particularly in her latter ones. As our mother grew older Nodie was always there.
Nodie was always full of fun, full of life and laughter and was always a light in any room. A sharp cookie, we all have memories of her good humour and sense of fun. Who could forget that husky voice. An honorary aunt to us all.

It was lovely to hear them both talking of old times around Sligo and how my mother in law baked and iced Nodie's wedding cake. Such lovely memories. RIP.

Rest in Peace Nodie, a lovely lady who enjoyed life and was always a pleasure to be around.
She was a great friend to my mother for almost 70 years and they “ did time together “ at The wonderful Cedars Nursing Home. They are probably playing Whist now.

She had a wicked sense of humour and a super laugh and was a great friend to Nana over the years.
