To Guy, Meriel and all of Howard’s family my sincere condolences. I can still remember when I first met Howard when you joined 20th Dundrum, he was always a most supportive parent to us Leaders.
A good Scout - gone home now.

On behalf of all at the rugby club, we extend our sincere sympathy to Meriel and the extended Kilroy family at this sad time. Howard was a former player and always kept in touch and helped out where possible, to assist in the running of the club. Larger than life and always to be seen with family and friends before big games in Lansdowne Road, savouring the moment and always with a smile on his face. Now reunited with his old pal Jack Kirwan, where undoubtedly there will be never ending discussions on matters rugby.
