Hugh Ashmore

Just heard the sad news about Hugh and Marie. Worked in Connolly where everyone knew Hugh, met Marie a few times when she called in to see Hugh but felt like I knew her as Hugh constantly talked about her. Hugh was such a lovely man, always smiling and in good form. Sincere sympathy to all the family.

My Deepest sympathy to all the family on the passing of Hugh and Marie. Loving parents who spoke very highly of there family. Hugh was a great friend to me and many, I loved our Saturday golfing. Even though we were crap, but our lunch break's in the hospital were a great laugh. Only found out in Lanzarote, definitely would have been there, I will miss them both. May they rest in peace. And may God bless the one's they leave behind.

Hugh was a fine compère and singer for so many years in The Broadstone Inn, and always gave me a wonderful intro. Sadly missed. Bryan
