Dympna, Monica, Paul and families. We were so sorry to hear of Hughes passing. I carry great memories of fun, laughter and I still recount stories of when we worked together. So sorry to hear of the passing of Hughie, our deepest sympathy Dympna, Monica, Paul and all your family. We remember Hughie fondly and all the time he spent in Cork with Eddie. Always thoughful and funny with a kind word for everyone. One of the many memories was Hughie and Eddie working on an invention to allow disabled children to play on a swing....not sure the invention got mass uptake but shows the thoughfullness that Hughie had for others throughout his life. Some fantastic memories of holiday's with Hugh and Dympna - one of the strongest being that of a 60+ year old Hugh completing summersaults jumping on a trampoline with a bungee cord tied at each hip in Gran Canaria. I think that image sums up the Hugh I grew to love and laugh with. May he rest in peace (and continue to "bounce" his way through heaven)
